Networking Dinners

NETWORKING DINNER 1

7.30pm at The Crowne Plaza Newcastle Hotel – Stephenson Quarter, NE1 3SA

For convenience, we will stage the first networking dinner at our Conference venue.
We will make use of the Hawthorns Restaurant and Terrace on the Ground Floor of the hotel.

Ticket price includes arrival drink, 3 course dinner and some wine with dinner.

Please book your ticket at the time of registering. Numbers will be sealed ahead of the Dinner, so please do not leave it late to book in.

7.30pm at Wood Hall within Neville Hall, NE1 1SE

In order to enjoy ‘a hidden gem in Newcastle’s heart’, we have arranged an exclusive opportunity for ALAMA participants as our second networking dinner this year. This will be a special occasion not to be missed.

Rarely viewed by most visitors to Newcastle, the historic Neville Hall is a short walk (10 minutes) from the Crowne Plaza Newcastle Hotel. Though centrally located and easy to find, the inside of Neville Hall is rarely seen. The building remains home to the North of England Institute of Mining and Mechanical Engineers (NEIMME) and has always been a vibrant hub for scientific debate.

We will dine in the spectacular Wood Hall, enjoying its Gothic style and stunning stained glass windows. It is named after the Institute’s first President and will provide a fascinating and impressive backdrop for our dinner on 22nd May.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be confirmed in writing by E-mail three full weeks prior to the event and will be refunded minus an administration charge of £50.

We regret that no refunds can be made after that time, although substitutions will be accepted if notified in writing prior to the event.

Terms & Conditions

Please note the following booking conditions:

  1. Bookings must be made online and paid for at the time of booking, by debit or credit card and fees cannot be invoiced. Our automated booking system makes receipts available immediately after a successful card payment.
  2. It remains the responsibility of the delegate to ensure that payment is received by the Secretariat. No contact with Finance Departments/Managers/Budget Holders/Procurement Teams can be entered into without additional charges. No additional documentation can be provided by the Secretariat to achieve payment, in order to keep the administrative costs down. The Secretariat will deal with the named delegate only.
  3. Savings are to be made by booking at the Early Registration Fee. The Fees will automatically increase on the date shown.
  4. Submission of an online booking represents entry into a contract with the Hosts and the relevant fees become due on submission of a booking, whether or not the delegate attends the event.
  5. As a condition of booking, the delegate’s GMC number will be requested; this will be checked against the GMC register by the ALAMA Organiser; all bookings are subject to this approval process and ALAMA reserves the right to reject a booking where GMC registration cannot be verified.
