OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH
Oxford
The ALAMA Annual Conferences are unmissable events for Occupational Health physicians to polish their skills, network with others and earn valuable CPD credits. The Conferences are open to all ALAMA members.
The conference programmes are designed to feature topics which confront many of us in our day-to-day work and to deliver a comprehensive update on the latest clinical evidence, research results and legal opinions.
Expert speakers have been secured, including leading academics and key medical specialists to ensure that we have the very latest information in our programme. You can see what we have in store so far by clicking on PROGRAMME at the top of the page.
CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD)
CPD accreditation has been applied for; 15 credits are usually available for full attendance and the total will be confirmed on this website in due course.
We hope that you will join us in Oxford for this year’s Annual Conference. Please see the VENUE page for more information about our well-equipped residential venue. It promises to be another excellent event in this well-established series.
Programme
As a delegate, you can expect a broad range of topics presented by high-quality speakers who are experts in their respective fields.
CPD applied for (usually 15 credits).
Networking Dinners
As ever, the Networking Dinners at the ALAMA Conference are an important aspect. These are optional to attend. The caterers will need our numbers around 3 weeks in advance so we urge early booking at the time of Registration and late bookings may be impossible to accommodate.

NETWORKING DINNER OPTION
NETWORKING DINNER 2 – Thursday 19th November
7.30pm at The Cherwell Boathouse, Bardwell Road, OX2 6ST
Described as “an Oxford Institution”, The Cherwell Boathouse is a much-loved feature of Oxford life and has been serving the best local cuisine for many decades.
The restaurant was started in an authentic Edwardian working Boathouse, alongside the punt station (established 1904) on the banks of the river Cherwell by Anthony Verdin, a local entrepreneur and connoisseur of fine wine and food. The restaurant is still family owned and run.
Being in November, we will be too late for the punting season, but this dinner will be a special networking occasion, not to be missed.

Ticket price includes return group transport from The Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford, arrival drink, 3 course dinner and a drink with dinner, in this unique riverside venue.
Please book your ticket at the time of registering. Numbers will be sealed ahead of the Dinner, so please do not leave it late to book in.
Ticket Price: £65pp
